Multiply the amount of DMC skeins the pattern requires by .8 and round up to next whole number.

For eg. 10 skeins of DMC is 10x.8 = 8 skeins of CGT

There are many uncontrollable factors that can result in different dye lots, beginning with the cotton itself. Cotton is a natural fibre and may take dyes differently depending on where and how it was grown and treated. In fact, sometimes we see slightly different results within a dye lot, even though it has all been dyed and processed together. Other variables that can affect dye lots are weather conditions ie temperature and humidity, water quality ie water supply treatments, dye stock. Although we try strive to maintain consistent dye lots by continually improving our processes, some factors are out of our control. So be sure to plan by our rule of thumb - Buy enough plus 1.

We don’t have a physical store front in our factory however we stock at a shop in Mirboo North called Artspace. You can call in advance to check their stock and if they don’t have what you need we can arrange to have it ready for you to pick up. Please allow 2 weeks notice as some colours may need to be dyed.
