Along with twenty-eight unique and contemporary tailored threads of furs, solids, bohemian and hipster colours, Namesake is the next part of the journey for Amy Kallissa in bridging the gap between our foremothers and the younger generation. This set is all 28 colours in the Namesake Range in Stranded thread.
Thread Weights & Length

Stranded – 6 stranded thread is divisible into 6 strands and can be used as a single strand or multiple strands together. CGT stranded threads are 10m (10 yd, 93 in) cut into 50cm (19.685 in) lengths. Perle - Single stranded twist that is used singularly.

Perle thread has a sheen finish because it is a round thread. The higher the number of Perle – the finer the thread. Perle 12 is equivalent to 2 strands of stranded cotton. Perle 8 is equivalent to 4 strands of stranded cotton. CGT Perle threads are 15m (16 yd, 40 in) continuous.

DYE LOTS - Rule of Thumb: Buy enough plus 1

We encourage you to always purchase more than you anticipate for a project. We aim to have consistent colour batches but due to the hand dyeing process colours can change slightly between dye lots. To read further information about our dye lots, head over to our blog: DYE LOTS BLOG
ORDER FULFILLMENT TIMEFRAMES

Please Note: We specialise in small batch thread dyeing and assembly to order, which means sometimes we have to dye stranded thread to fulfil your order and that takes a few days longer.  Perle 8 and Perle 12 threads will always be small batch dyed to order.

We will endeavour to get your order packed and ready to be shipped within 5-10 working days.  If we expect it to take longer, we will be in touch to let you know.
