Our 2026 Embroidery Advent Calendar comes with 24 hand-dyed threads, 24 original snowflake designs and 6 surprise embroidery tools.  After listening to feedback from our very first advent calendar in 2025, this year we're introducing finishing kits and the choice of 3 colourways.

Hand-dyed and packed with care in our studio in Victoria, Australia.  Loved and stitched by makers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US. Pre-orders ship in late October, so your calendar arrives in plenty of time to open the first door on the first of December. 

Frequently asked questions

Q: I’m a beginner – is this calendar still right for me?

A: Yes, beautifully so. The snowflake designs use straightforward stitches and are sized for short, satisfying sessions, so you can pick up confidence as you go. If you can thread a needle, you can stitch your way through this calendar.

Q: I haven’t tried English paper piecing before - is it tricky?

A: Not at all. EPP is hand-sewing in its purest form – fabric wrapped around a paper hexagon, then joined to its neighbours with a small whip stitch. It’s a slow, soothing technique, and we include simple instructions to walk you through your first hexagon.

Q: What’s included and what do I need to supply myself?

A: We include the 24 hand-dyed skeins, all 24 original snowflake designs, 24 hexagon fabric pieces, paper piecing templates, and 6 bonus stitching tools - everything you need! 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We do. We send our embroidery advent calendars to stitchers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US, carefully packed for the journey, with pre-orders dispatching in late October so they arrive in time for December.

Q: What’s the difference between the three colourways?

A: Traditional carries the classic warmth of Christmas in deep reds, evergreens and firelight golds. Neutral leans quiet and modern with soft ivories, taupes and silvered greys. Vintage Bright is our joyful palette - jewel-toned and a little unexpected, drawn from nostalgic Christmas baubles and tinsel.
