Type

Christmas decorating can be a bit of a challenge in Australia: snowmen and reindeer don't feel quite right in the middle of Summer! Joanna has always loved the Christmas Bell Blandfordia nobilis, which blooms in her state around the holidays. She created this design to show a different side of Christmas, one of warm days full of bright flowers, and drifitng eucalyptus instead of snow.

This design has a stitch count of 99w x 49h and uses full crosses over two and Algerian Eyelts stitched around a central cross-stitch. In the model, Joanna used one strand of floss over two threads of linen.

It can be stitched on linen, Aida or evenweave. The model was stitched before Joanna's collaboration with Cottage Garden Threads but the design also looks stunning stitched in the Bookshelf Edit range. We recommend the below threads and have included 5m of each in this thread pack.
