MOJO STITCHES - ORANGES AND LEMONS

When Joanna was designing these, a nursery rhyme kept running through her head: “Oranges and lemons say the bells of St Clemens…” Stitching these topiary trees reminded her of the importance of using our senses for grounding and enjoyment. The bright colours pleased her eye, the smell of oranges reminded her of Summer, the taste of lemons make everything sing, and the sound of bells made her smile. She hopes stitching these brings you similar pleasures.

These designs have a stitch count of 59w x 95h each and use full crosses over 2, and a few backstitches. In her model, she used 2 strands of floss over 2 threads of linen for the cross-stitches & 1 strand for the back-stitches. It is suitable for stitchers of any experience, and can be stitched on linen, Aida or evenweave of any count that you prefer.
