We hope you enjoy stitching this little Sugar Glider, perched between leaps, amidst a profusion of native blooms. We wonder how the Glider views the world – we'd like to think that it sees a bounty of flowers, buzzing with native bees and beautiful colour. There are many flowers here: Flannel Flowers, Kangaroo Paws, Eucalypt blossoms, Wattle, Boronia and Tea Tree.

This design has a stitch count of 71w x 105h (although some extra room should be left around the sides) and uses full crosses over two, with some back-stitches. In the model, Joanna used two strands of floss over two threads of linen for the cross stitches & one strand for the back-stitches. It is suitable for beginners to advanced stitchers, and can be stitched on linen, Aida or evenweave of any count that you prefer.

Model is stitched on 32-count ‘Buttercream’ by Whoopsie Daisy Designs at Daisy Chain Stitchery using Cottage Garden Threads hand dyed variegated 6 stranded cotton threads. The model is in a standard 6x8 inch frame.
