MOJO STITCHES - ZELDA'S HEART

The quotation I used in this design is by Zelda Fitzgerald, a talented writer and artist in her own right, but best known for being the wife and muse of F, Scott Fitzgerald, Zelda knew great hardship and this quotation, I hope, provides inspiration as we all face our own challenges.

It is a great pleasure to design this piece for Pam - in thanks to her and the whole team at Cottage Garden Threads for their artistry, support and general kindness. I hope you enjoy stitching it in their beautiful threads.

This design has a stitch count of 99w x 135h (although I added a couple of extra inches each side to frame it in a standard 8 x 10 inch frame). It uses full crosses over two, a little satin Stitch, Smyrna Stitch, Algerian Eyelets and Back Stitch. In my model, I used 1 strand of floss over two threads of linen. Model stitched on 36-count 'Spun Sugar' by JaysXstitch on Etsy.
