I created Tack It Easy to make glue basting just as fun (if not even more fun) than the piecing itself. A customer called it a ‘game changer for EPP’.
I recommend Sewline Glue pens and refills for use with Tack It Easy gadgets. The specially designed acid free textile glue is strong enough to hold but gentle enough to remove, so your Hexies stay ready for stitching.
Spend less time basting and more time with a needle in hand.

Our very first prototype was made from cardboard and yes, it ripped. The finished Tack It Easy is made from a durable, specially crafted material that holds strong through repeated use. No tearing, no worries.
Any standard sized papers will work beautifully. You can even keep using your papers when the edges are a little worn from stitching because the gadget’s straight edge keeps everything neat.
Tack It Easy templates have tiny corner holes to mark for accuracy when fussy cutting, plus printed guidelines to help you perfectly align prints. It is the little touch that makes your patchwork look extra polished.
Yes, absolutely. We have tried it with everything from Liberty lawn patchwork to vintage linen and it works just as smoothly.
It is simple. Glue, fold, spin, repeat. No more sticky fingers, no uneven edges, no mess. Many of us have stitched the old way with glue or thread basting, but after using Tack It Easy, there is no going back.

I’m hand sewing a scrap when I have spare minutes. I love bright colour and clashing patterns. I’ve made many quilts over the years but this is my first hand stitched one. I don’t like waste and I can take several with me and stitch wherever I am.

Just start my journey with EPP. A friend gifted me a charm pack of fabric, a glue pen and the paper pieces to keep me occupied during my recovery from surgery for a servere quad tendon rupture. I love this device it is fabulous to work with! This is my first time trying EPP. The background fabric I machine appliqued the EPP flowers on to is Andover's Downtown Abby's fabric line. I'm not crazy about this combo now that it is almost finished... but done is better than perfect. The Tack It Easy 1 " Hex template made it easy peasy!

Spectacular, variegated threads.! I had to make 7 frou frou bracelets for family and friends at a big event coming up and I sewed hundreds of French knots using the threads. I love getting the 30 metre skeins so much, even though they take a bit longer to receive the quality control from CTG is excellent, as is their communication and customer service, and it means I can very precisely cut custom lengths that suit the way I work. It's a really flexible option, especially for single colour projects where I expect to use a lot of the same colour anyway! This project (a design of mine) isn't yet finished and you can already see how beautiful the colour shifts are, and how that pop of red really makes it shine! The thread is a delight to work with, both soft, lustrous, shiny, and with fantastic coverage. It makes my stitches look far neater than they actually are! :D

I bought this thread for stitching the sky in a needlepoint design. I haven't used it in the design yet, but I think it is the perfect shade for a slightly cloudy sky. Very happy with my purchase.

This thread is absolutely gorgeous! The color change is unlike anything I’ve used before in the best possible way. Every stitch is different, which was so much fun and kept the piece interesting while only using a single “color.” The stitching experience was also so nice. This thread does not tangle or knot! It glides so smoothly through the fabric. Easily my favorite cross stitch thread I’ve ever used.

I am already working on the first of 3 volumes of the Field Journal quilt. Having now purchased the pattern and Cottagecore collection of threads I am planning to combine them all into a single large quilt - Double/Queen size? Using hexagons rather than squares. This will be a long project but one I’m looking forward to eventually completing. I’m enjoying the embroidery and I love Liberty Tana Lawn.

Secret is one of the most luxurious rich purples I have ever stitched with. It is so beautiful I think I’ll use it as a single colour in an Alphabet Sampler. It’s a beautiful substitute for black if you need a dark in a design.
