Won’t it just rip?
Our very first prototype was made from cardboard and yes, it ripped. The finished Tack It Easy is made from a durable, specially crafted material that holds strong through repeated use. No tearing, no worries.
What papers do I use?
Any standard sized papers will work beautifully. You can even keep using your papers when the edges are a little worn from stitching because the gadget’s straight edge keeps everything neat.
How are these templates different from the ones I already have?
Tack It Easy templates have tiny corner holes to mark for accuracy when fussy cutting, plus printed guidelines to help you perfectly align prints. It is the little touch that makes your patchwork look extra polished.
Can I use different weights of fabric?
Yes, absolutely. We have tried it with everything from Liberty lawn patchwork to vintage linen and it works just as smoothly.
So how does it actually work?
It is simple. Glue, fold, spin, repeat. No more sticky fingers, no uneven edges, no mess. Many of us have stitched the old way with glue or thread basting, but after using Tack It Easy, there is no going back.

This thread is absolutely gorgeous! The color change is unlike anything I’ve used before in the best possible way. Every stitch is different, which was so much fun and kept the piece interesting while only using a single “color.” The stitching experience was also so nice. This thread does not tangle or knot! It glides so smoothly through the fabric. Easily my favorite cross stitch thread I’ve ever used.

I love it i brought the glue pen and gifted it to by BBF she is using a kids glue stick so we sew together once a every second Saturday so she seen my glue pen when doing some tiny heaxgons for my daughter quilt

I am already working on the first of 3 volumes of the Field Journal quilt. Having now purchased the pattern and Cottagecore collection of threads I am planning to combine them all into a single large quilt - Double/Queen size? Using hexagons rather than squares. This will be a long project but one I’m looking forward to eventually completing. I’m enjoying the embroidery and I love Liberty Tana Lawn.

Secret is one of the most luxurious rich purples I have ever stitched with. It is so beautiful I think I’ll use it as a single colour in an Alphabet Sampler. It’s a beautiful substitute for black if you need a dark in a design.

A beautiful collection of pastel colours. I am going to use them in a candle wicked quilt, instead of using wool. Will take a while to complete, but it will be worth it with these beautiful colours. 🥰

I enjoyed working on THE BLUE FLOWER - SEASONS OF THE HEART (HEARTS FOR PAM) CHART. However, I worked the cross-stitch on peach linen, and I like the way it turned out.

The tack it easy makes the EPP process that bit easier. I prefer to glue baste. I got a bit free and easy with my glue but a gentle rub with hand sanitiser and a very gentle rub with a dry sponge fixed it all up.

I am absolutely in love with these threads. I bought the Field Journal V1 Kit and I'm currently stitching my sixth floral square. Each motif is as pretty as the next and the threads are truly gorgeous. The colors are outstanding and the variegation provides such perfect depth to the designs. As a life-long needlepointer, I've stitched with CGT before, but the Field Journal Kit might make an embroiderer out of me yet. I will be ordering V2 & V3. And, while I stitch I'm dreaming up creative ways to display and store all these beautiful threads.

I love your threads. I tell everyone about them! My absolute favourite is the farmers market. The colours are just divine. The only other feedback I have is that I wish I could get longer thread length either pre-cut or continuous. I know you have a 50 meter available unfortunately it’s just too big for me and a little too costly when I would like to have lots of different colours. Thank you for your time!

This floss is a dream to work with. I am loving my Blackwork project with Riot. I got 2 skeins. One was a bit lighter so I’m alternating the squares which works out perfectly.
This Riot reminds me of sari silk yarn. A favorite of mine.
This is my first fancy floss and I will be buying more. I just know it. I have passed along the website for my Christmas list!
