Won’t it just rip?
Our very first prototype was made from cardboard and yes, it ripped. The finished Tack It Easy is made from a durable, specially crafted material that holds strong through repeated use. No tearing, no worries.
What papers do I use?
Any standard sized papers will work beautifully. You can even keep using your papers when the edges are a little worn from stitching because the gadget’s straight edge keeps everything neat.
How are these templates different from the ones I already have?
Tack It Easy templates have tiny corner holes to mark for accuracy when fussy cutting, plus printed guidelines to help you perfectly align prints. It is the little touch that makes your patchwork look extra polished.
Can I use different weights of fabric?
Yes, absolutely. We have tried it with everything from Liberty lawn patchwork to vintage linen and it works just as smoothly.
So how does it actually work?
It is simple. Glue, fold, spin, repeat. No more sticky fingers, no uneven edges, no mess. Many of us have stitched the old way with glue or thread basting, but after using Tack It Easy, there is no going back.

What a bargain! I was looking for plain colours as opposed to the beautiful variegated threads I usually buy. I’ve bought several of the limited edition gradient packs but wanted particular colours to stitch on a piece of fabric I’m using in a slow stitching project. ALL of these were in the SALE department! I’m so thrilled, they’re such a perfect match for my project. Just finished my Cottage Garden Thread Wallet🤗🌹The original wallet pattern only has room for 30 threads, and as I’m a bit of a 'go hard or go home' kinda gal, well, I tripled it😝 Also made the inside folder able to double as a work station, so I can have access to all the threads, or just the ones currently being used🤗 My embroidery is very beginner, so please don’t look too closely, but it’s bright and happy, and makes me smile☺️The CGThreads are such a delight to work with, and the colours are quite glorious🌹 Best part in my new wallet, is there’s a whole new section, waiting to be filled😝🤗😉🌹🌹🌹 I’m loving the new journey of marrying the EPP with embroidery, and can’t wait to get started on my Gwennies Garden quilt🤗🌹

This Olive Harvest set was perfect to use for this October Quaker by From the Heart. That speckle skein was the best part of adding something special here and there on the pattern. I just chose to use it on the flower motifs. Please release more kits (even if not harvest themed - seasonal appropriate would be great too!)!

The colours in Apricot Ice are beautiful together. I love how they compliment each other in the overall look. The cotton itself is top quality which makes the sewing experience heaven. I go back to Cottage Garden Threads over and over again. Love them.

My love of circles and french knots has lead me to this tree. I was after soft and sweet which I think using Honesty for the trunk and branches has given me that look. A good colour transition just added the right amount of variation I needed.
Between Honesty and using Bridal Veil for flowers, I think I have achieved what I was after.

I’m making a book of Circles and French Knots. Bridal Veil had just the right amount of colour transition to give the impression of new and older flowers on this tree. Bridal Veil has given life to my tree and gives the over all feeling of peace when I look at it.

I’m hand sewing a scrap when I have spare minutes. I love bright colour and clashing patterns. I’ve made many quilts over the years but this is my first hand stitched one. I don’t like waste and I can take several with me and stitch wherever I am.
